I took my son with learning disabilities to see Aladdin @edinplayhouse today. Unfortunately he didn’t want to sit and watch and was quite vocal about it. However the understanding and assistance from the FoH staff was brilliant and very much appreciated. Please pass on my thanks.

When someone tells you… - they miss their partner in a care home - or they miss their mum at school - or … don’t tell them how they cd feel better. Instead, invite them to say more about what they just said. You cannot save them from their feelings. You CAN help carry them.

Last night I saw @BenjaminScheuer’s @Mountain4Elodie, a searingly honest festival show about navigating grief and the unexpected/unwanted realities of producing life. The music/performance shines on its own merits but @simonxwilkinson has added some extra sparkle into the mix.
