And they wonder why
@QUBelfast
is a cold house for Unionist students. Does Unionist consent not matter? Or is it only Nationalists who can withhold consent?

Katy - read
@TomMcTague
‘s piece. Perhaps it is working in the nationalist echo chamber that is
@QUBelfast
these days - but there is always two sides to a story - and even if it’s unpalatable you do have to accept that. Strange to be saying that to a ‘supposed’ educator! 🙄

That’s a good article which is concise on the worrying direction of travel of the UK government generally and not just over the protocol.
@hayward_katy
A very clear and fair analysis which rightly points out, in terms, the need for adult discussion between the EU and UK to resolve the issues. It’s also a reminder that some will attempt a scorched earth policy if they don’t get entirely their own way.
@hayward_katy
An excellent piece of writing. Wouldn’t be surprised if the DUP, an anti-Belfast Agreement party (despite pretending to defend it), was using the Protocol to attack the Agreement.
@hayward_katy
N Ireland /GFA /ECHR all combine to form a plug in the drain of brexit. The DUP have backed themselves into a corner. Refusing to form Stormont is asking for a review of the GFA 1st/2nd first minister clause. DUP didn't sign so have no say.
Brexit needs N Ireland gone!
