To put everything in perspective:. Iowa went 8-4 against a GRUELING B1G schedule and we totally underachieved. Iowa State went 10-2 against St Mary’s School of the Blind and it is the best year in program history. The two programs are just not comparable.

Ben McCollum gave Josh Dix a hell of a recruiting pitch. I can tell you that for sure. If he’s able to fend off Jon Scheyer, Bill Self, Greg McDermott, and Brad Underwood, that would be very impressive. I’m still not sure it happens, but it keeps looking better and better.

I’m not sure people realize how good Gavin Hoffman is. He is a 6’5 athletic freak, he has a 40 inch vertical and runs a 4.56 40 with serious YAC ability. For reference LaPorta ran a 4.59 and Kittle ran a 4.52. With those movement skills, a 6’5 frame and at TEU. He can be special.
