I wouldn't say I'd be "happy", as such, I'd be disappointed to see him go but if his 100 mill clause was activated, or close to it, it'd give us huge scope for reinvestment.
@haverofsize
On todays showing I think I might back track on selling him. He was exactly what you would need in a midfield 3. My logic hs been that if it allows us to grow then do it
@BL_2889
I just don’t think history is littered with teams going on to big things off the back of selling their best player. Coutinho is probably the exception but that was a VERY bloated transfer fee.
@haverofsize
Bruno was at like 60% for the 1st 5 or so games.. besides that been cosistently one of our best, issue is when the houses are falling down around him, there is only so long his foundations will withstand the pressure before his does.
@haverofsize
If he’s got the release clause then it will eventually be triggered and set us away with FFP but it’ll be the worst day of my life. We will never replace him
@haverofsize
Not one fan would be happy to sell him, but if you look into how FFP works, 120m would give us around 200m to spend, I'd prefer him to stay though
@haverofsize
No one would be happy…but may be forced to due to FFP and we would only be happy because it allows us to go again in the market…if we don’t sell I’ll be happy…just don’t complain aboutvthe club and owners when we sign no one
@haverofsize
Heard a few people saying this yesterday! Absolute madness!! Remember when we sold Gascoigne and bought 5 players with his money and got relegated!!
