As Year 3 scientists, we have finished our unit on Light and Shadows by creating a shadow puppet theatre. We made our shadows increase or decrease in size by moving our light sources (torches). Science is such fun! #whcyear3 #whcscience

Year 4 have been conservationists in science today, researching ways that we can help reverse the effects of habitat loss through things like deforestation and coral bleaching in order to help endangered species! #whcyear4 #whcscience

#WHCYear6 have started their new #WHCScience topic - Health and Circulation. We began by thinking about what ‘health’ means and what can contribute to being healthy. We designed questionnaires to ask our classmates so we could determine how our class could improve their health.

1JE have been creating bird feeders using pine cones and banana. The children were brilliant at explaining all they have learnt about plants and their life cycles. We are also super pleased with the broad bean seeds that we planted. We have pods! #whcscience #whcyear1
