That the biggest ac defenders on here are europoor techbros enamoured with maga anti-establishment aesthetics is my personal 9/11. Why can't we just have normal advocacy for more AC? It's like the easiest thing to sell people on ever.

Watching Superman (2025). I appreciate Lex Luthor having a cabal of techbros, but they don’t quite qualify as goons. Goons are aggressively stupid, while Luthor’s minions are merely amoral and/or evil. You don’t get the impression any of them could say “Hurrr,,, I dunno, boss.”
Watching Superman (1978). Villains don't have goons like they used to and I think it really makes the genre worse. Every evil supergenius should have a bumbling henchmen who excitedly repeats all of their ideas as questions and fetches objects for them.

I think ai and techbros are a desease to the planet that goes beyond the actual resource waste they cause. Nothing of worth is left in their wake, just a parasitic existence justified by wanting to have fun with colorful slop. I don’t wanna reap all the poison they’re sowing.
