Statement by veterinarian Josie Beug, DVM, regarding Librela & Solensia (for osteoarthritis). Of note, in this statement she felt the need to say "I am not suicidal." Just let that sink in. That is how serious this is. We all need to be informed and say NO to this horrible shot.

@NostalgiaPro My boy Max just turned 13 he has a Librela injection every month, plus 1 Onsior tablet a day, and he still goes out for 3 walks a day, the difference when we couldn't get Librela for 2wks was unbelievable, good luck x

@badpetmeds Edi's chiropractor is not a fan of Librela at all. He seen xrays of an arthritic elbow before and after 2 yrs on Librela. The after was awful. Looked like the arthritis had doubled 😬

@NostalgiaPro I have a 14.5 yo Ridgeback. Osteo arthritis is a challenge. But like you, I’ve got Penny on Librela, Metacam and a tactical vest to help lift her. 3 walks a day…she does about 6k each day. I’m so glad there is another drill sgt out there! It works. Wade on left is 10.

@ShropsCatRescue @madridnantes @MargLloyd Solensia (and librela in dogs) has been a god send for my patients. I can’t tell you how many videos clients send me a week after their pets first injection of cats jumping like they hadn’t years. So thankful for it!

Para los que tenéis peludos abuelitos. Teebo tiene como mínimo 17 tacos (por cuándo le adopté) y anda con osteoartritis y reúma y a veces no podía levantarse y lo tengo que llevar en brazos. Ha tomado Librela, que más que medicina es un milagro. Si tenéis abuelitos, apuntadlo.

@MissTeeandMoo lol they just act like they don’t feel pain, don’t they? It’s not gonna get in the way of her sniffing around all night! 😆 she has arthritis & hip dysplasia but the Librela shot helps a lot!

@NostalgiaPro You might want to try Librela; it's injections of monoclonal antibodies that target nerve growth factor, which reduces pain signaling. I've used a similar drug made for cats (Solensia) for a three-legged kitty who has developed severe arthritis in his lower spine, and it's really

It snowed! AGAIN! Woohoo! 2 days in a row. The hoos are grumbly but I’m happy. I’m a bit sore after playing yesterday. Bouncing about in the snow made my arthritis flare, but tomorrow I’ll get my Librela & I’ll be a frisky new puppy! Momma loves footprints in the snow. Happy Mon!
