The iridescent Ammonites have to be experienced to be believed: quite remarkable. And the rare lunar meteorite seemed very special (I could have held a miniature moon in my hand – I didn’t!). Plus plenty of other amazing fossils I didn’t photograph. #ExtraordinaryObjects 2/2

Then to #ExtraordinaryObjects for their current “SALUTE” exhibition of women artists. I liked: Lakwena Maciver’s striking “Nothing Can Separate Us”; Elena Saraceni’s amazing “Hairpiece 79”; Helen Beard’s dramatic “If They Be Two They Are Two So”; and Olivia Wright’s sexy “Wicked”

More of #ExtraordinaryObjects ’s exhibition “Everything Is A Bit Shit” which “…celebrates British humour”. I’m a sucker for craft-based art: here Tim Fishlock (massive effort, gorgeous, fun) and Grayson Perry.

More of Alma Singer’s “A For Effort” at #ExtraordinaryObjects. All pieces for sale (since this is a commercial gallery, after all). #NotAnAd.

Earlier, I popped into #ExtraordinaryObjects to see their current exhibition: “Some Of My Best Friends Are Dinosaurs” – curated by The Connor Brothers. There’s the amazing, huge Triceratops skull of course. But their images are wonderful and fun too (and all sold). 1/2

This week I waited ’til #ExtraordinaryObjects was open to properly see @davidshrigley’s artwork close up. Such fun. Bonus: unusual cast iron(?) kerbs leading off Green Street opposite. #MyArtworkIsTerribleAndIAmAVeryBadPerson

Plus I got to take home a little bit of #ExtraordinaryObjects ’s #EverythingIsABitShit: a postcard, a cheap gold frame from @TKMaxx_UK, et voila… art in the kitchen!

Really enjoyed #ExtraordinaryObjects’ “The Last Supper: A Farewell Christmas Party” last night. Champagne flowed, I met some fascinating people (hi Bob!), and I resisted splurging on any of the art (sorry Carla). Will be much missed when they close on 22nd.

Nipped into #ExtraordinaryObjects earlier to see the latest works they have. Photos of Damien Hirst’s “Suiko H10-4 (The Empress)” doesn’t do it justice (jaw dropping, but who doesn’t like glitter?). A Lichtenstein (as old as me!) and the Grayson Perry’s also caught my eye.

Ooo, there’s a @davidshrigley exhibition in town at the #ExtraordinaryObjects in Green Street: “My Artwork Is Terrible And I Am A Very Bad Person”. (Not open when I was there, but runs thru ’til December, so will catch it on another Saturday, post noon)

Nipped in to see the new hang at #ExtraordinaryObjects in Green St: the Jean-Michel Basquiats were a bit too weird for me (and eye-wateringly expensive) but the Conor Brothers reimagined paperbacks are fun (with a reflection of a couple of great original Shrigleys opposite).

Popped into #ExtraordinaryObjects (“Fairytale of New Work” …always worth a visit, even when it’s not raining) and @MackayCambridge (to buy some washers). Now home, I’ve put the heating on as a treat to drive out my cold dampness!
