Check out this RARE malformed embryo Sandbar Shark (Carcharhinus plumbeus) @FloridaMuseum. The set of misshapen "donut" shark embryos show a complete lack of posterior anatomy, including the tail. Looks more like an Ocean Sunfish, Mola mola! CT scan to follow! #shark #devbio 🦈
