Wild parsnip (Pastinaca sativa) dominating the late summer chalk downland near Danebury hillfort. Easily distinguished by its yellow flowers which smell strongly of parsnip. ⁦@BSBIbotany⁩ ⁦@wildflower_hour#wildparsnip #wildflowers #wildflowerhour

PSA from the Garden Guy- AVOID #WILDPARSNIP! The ditches and trails are full of it right now. The white flower is Queen Anne's Lace and is not poison. The yellow is wild parsnip and will. "White is alright, yellow will hurt a fellow." #dangerintheditch #parsnip

After watching a video about poisonous plants I see danger everywhere. Exhibit A is the fist plant I stumble upon outside my abode: wild parsnip (Pastinaca sativa); its sap cause horrible blisters on the skin. Charming! . #wildparsnip #poisonousplants
