@whoapi Now it seems that Google and Bing will tell you right away "No more available domains." Even worse, they tell the source is a big brand company CSC Global, with their blog post, which clearly says "some company did the research". They don't link to our research, because who cares

@whoapi It was shared on Reddit, and another 10,000 people swarmed to our website to read the article. Since then, whenever someone searched "if there are any available four-letter .com domains" our research would be listed on the top result. Because, hey, we researched it.

In case you ever wonder if and how search is going to die, well, we are witnessing it. Here's my personal example. Over a decade ago, my company @whoapi did a research on four-letter .com domains. It was well received in the community and thousands of people read the article.
