Miss Hawkins went to a carol service this weekend at Pershore Abbey. All the classic hymns were sung like 'Away in a Manger' and 'Hark! The Herald Angels Sing'. There were readings from the bible all about the nativity and even mince pies! #WHPSRE

Yesterday, #WHPSClass6 were looking at the story of Diwali and enjoyed learning all about how some Hindu's celebrate Diwali in their special place of worship. They even got to try on sarees! #WHPSRE #WHPSCelebratewithus

In assembly this week we spoke about advent. We discussed how this time of year is important to Christians and how they count down to the birth of Jesus. We looked at the advent reef and the different candles and what they represent, we will light a candle each week #WHPSRE

In #WHPSRE we looked at the buddhist practice of meditation. We discussed why buddhists do this and had a go ourselves. We discussed how we felt before and after and after and drew some pictures illustrating this. #WHPSClass9
