Photophoretic trapping is actually strong & fast enough to do volumetric display. They could do almost 6g of acceleration, 2 m/s max speed, with a 3 W trap beam on a tens of um size particle. The resolution 1600 dpi and max 5 billion points, however the frame rate is limited by
