@rhtdmnik @GabbbarSingh @maheshperi Yes, the original post's statistic is school enrollment as a percentage of India's total population: 20.7% in 2015 down to 16.8% in 2025, per UDISE data. Note that an aging population (fewer children as % of total) contributes to this drop, alongside actual enrollment declines.
