Tip of the day: If you want to add a visible characters counter to your "TextInputLayout" just add "app:counterEnabled" and "app:counterMaxLength" and that's it! #androiddev

I am trying to design a TextInputLayout like this. The hard thing about making it like this is the bottom corners being rounded when the TextInputLayout is focused. I am not sure if this is possible with MDC or not. Any help or hints are much appreciated @ricknout @crafty

Since we've been talking about _TextInput_ you can define an error message for _TextInputLayout_ that will be shown on the bottom. Really useful to provide some feedback when the data entered is not valid. #AndroidDev 🎅
