The constant use of technology has shortened our attention span from 12 minutes to 5 minutes. Constant news feeds and videos that are 10 minutes or less has rewired our brains. People who are online an average of 5 hours a day have trouble remembering people's names.

This is a great point that they make. All everyone wants now-a-days is more tech and younger, less mature engineers are getting jobs that could be affecting us.
There’s a malaise in tech: Humans work around 40 years of their lives but engineers with a mere 5 years of experience are given a “senior” job title. This leads to a lot of immaturity being imposed on culture and processes, ultimately affecting the quality of output.
