Well, this looks promising, maybe the easiest fix ever for a soundcard: It was really bizarre that it was stopping the PC booting, I checked and cleaned with Isopropyl Alcohol first but it didn't work. But a wash in the sink with fairy liquid and a brush, rinse and dry?! 😂

@exQUIZitely I bought one of these SoundBlaster Live! Drives at Comdex, was my prized possession for a few years as I made an attempt at music production... Not a fancy Roland device, but for poor me it was a rough $150, but it came with the soundcard too so...
