Well, this looks promising, maybe the easiest fix ever for a soundcard: It was really bizarre that it was stopping the PC booting, I checked and cleaned with Isopropyl Alcohol first but it didn't work. But a wash in the sink with fairy liquid and a brush, rinse and dry?! 😂

It's the final version. Probably I will install an ISA soundcard, but not today😅 I need to find an IO shield and 2x fans to install on the top. Running Unreal Gold 1280x1024.

@exQUIZitely I still use a dedicated soundcard because I want a proper headphone amp, also noise isolation on onboard sound is hit and miss.

@theSiliconSiren For some reason my soundcard would default at i10 d3 h7... which was quite incompatible with many dos games.
