At work, one of our senior engineers was looking for a Java 'javax/script/ScriptEngine' implementation replacement for a project of theirs. Eventually they landed on BeanShell, which is basically a script-able version of Java 7. Its now the backend of Recaf's script system.

I can't contain my excitement! This will open so many opportunities on so many levels! Here's a teaser for tomorrow's video + @excalidraw ScriptEngine code. I built a @TheBrainTech-like graph interface for my @obsdmd vault. My mockup is far from perfect but already so powerful!

Putting everything (well most of it) together: 1) The ScriptEngine contains verifySacrificialTransactionSemantics() which takes a Transaction as input and make sure that an invocation to sacrifice() is valid and the only thing in the entire #GridScript source code. #programming
