On the 30th of May 2024, at the 49th SCAPR General Assembly held in Johannesburg, four members were elected to the board.

Highlights of Day 1 of the 49th SCAPR General Assembly, hosted by SAMPRA. SAMPRA has been a member of SCAPR since 2015 and has been an advocate of the Performer’s Rights, and ensuring that musicians earn from their creative music.

Highlights of Day 3 of the 49th SCAPR General Assembly, hosted by the South African Music Performance Rights Association, delved into the future landscape of African Performer's Rights and the crucial need for a musical shift to grasp the legalities involved.
