Saw these during my ecotherapy. The pink flower is a type of rose (they become rosehips in the fall). Idk what the tiny flowers are, but they're really pretty. And the last two are cotton and the cottonwood tree it came from (they're just now opening)

Foragers! Rosehips are one of the wild fruits you can get way into November. In fact, they are actually better once the frost hits. These are loaded with Vitamin C and traditional cultures knew that well. They used them for medicinal purposes and foods.

Cold winter winds are howling, sending leaves & branches skittering across the tin roof of my cottage. I'm staying warm inside, blending herbs for my favourite tea that never fails to help me feel better: elderflower, yarrow, hibiscus, mint, rosehips, rose petals, & calendula. ❇️
