#propensityscore doesn't block causal paths. Suppose C's block backdoor paths from A to Y (top). PS is a function of C as well as A, so correct DAG is bottom right, rather than left. PS balances C b/w A by inducing collider-stratifying selection (right), not by blocking (left).
