How to deal with overplotting in data visualization? Overplotting happens when there are a large number of data points which results in an undetailed plot with too many overlapping points. Overplotting makes it really difficult to interpret the plot and detect the patterns.

experiment overplotting prompt weights and step size together. probably would be better as separate subplots (ugh). def need to at least make sure they share x-axes (there should only be one moving vertical line). making progress anyway.

Anna Friel is great but MARCELLA is a good example of how overplotting that ends up connecting everything together could ruin a good series. Karachi Electric Supply Co wiring is not a successful model.

@jmhorp Probably a combination of sampling error and overplotting. In the original dataset (NLSY '97), I don't see the values hitting absolutely 0, and from the source paper's figures, it doesn't look like it quite touches 0 either: https://t.co/Av6KgJlP22
