Fabulous day Birdwatching with Jimbo. The sky was incredible. We saw lots of Black-headed Gulls. Got very excited when we saw some Common Terns flying over. Avocets, Curlews, Lapwings. Brilliant! @JamesMoir10

Long distance filming so as not to disturb but why have we got 3 pairs of lapwings on this field? The truths no one wants. No walkers, lots of cows and predator control! This field isn’t even managed specifically for them but they choose it as a safe reliable spot with food

#cows mean lapwings, numbers building as winter makes birds hungry and they look for reliable food source, which isnt created at airports and docks with imported food. #foodsystems

Good to see three Lapwings visiting yesterday, looking wary as they roosted on the shore with a crowd of Redshanks and some snoozing Mallards. Our first sighting for about a month. 3 Linnets flying past were also our first since late Jan
