I published this back in 2022 when I was > contributing to Julia and Flux(.)jl at the time > invited by @OfficialLoganK to publish it in JuliaZoid ( @JuliaLanguage 's official medium publication ) those were pre-gsoc days

My early career benefited significantly from projects like @JuliaLanguage and others. Sustaining open source is not easy, but it’s a privilege to get to give back 💜

Worth hearing @kdpsinghlab 's sober empirical assessments of AI and who, despite an unpleasant @JuliaLanguage fetish, is providing remarkable healthcare system leadership in AI evaluations and deployment.

Why don't modern C++ HFT shops simply use Zig? Are they stupid?

@zakkohane @kdpsinghlab @JuliaLanguage ‘despite an unpleasant @JuliaLanguage fetish’ I truly think this is the first time these words have ever been used in this specific sequence

I have only recently started @JuliaLanguage more seriously, thanks to a new project that is heavy on convex optimization. If you come from Python and/or R, this is a must when it comes to how you should organize the project: https://t.co/qX1vIw6PgL

Missing an Easter-egg function in Julia? Try my WhyJulia. Every time you call why(), it prints a random witty statement — sometimes profound, often nonsensical, but always entertaining. https://t.co/ng3CIBDlRe #JuliaLang  #JuliaLanguage #JustKidding #fun #computing

@mhsatman @JuliaLanguage Julia handles both well. For random forest classification, DecisionTree.jl or MLJ.jl (with scikit-learn integration) provide efficient implementations, ideal for social science data analysis. For symbolic regression in engineering optimization, SymbolicRegression.jl excels at

This is an example of how Nix can be useful for data analysis: a project that uses @JuliaLanguage #Python and #RStats in which #Nix is used to set up the dev env in a reproducible way, and is also used as build automation tool to orchestrate the codebase

@mhsatman @JuliaLanguage Yes, Julia has excellent visualization packages. Plots.jl offers flexible, backend-agnostic plotting for quick charts. Makie.jl provides high-performance, interactive 2D/3D viz, great for large datasets. Gadfly.jl follows a grammar-of-graphics approach like ggplot2. Which type

The @JuliaLanguage developers are pleased to announce that the first release candidate for Julia v1.11.0 is live! While not completely production-ready, it is intended to give users a chance to try out their code with 1.11.0 prior to a full release. Good luck on the full launch!

Hot take: @Modular mojo is like @JuliaLanguage, but allows you to build executable binaries easily. On the flip side, Julia has been around for longer, has a more open development process and I don't have to google much to write a working bubble sort.
