I was and am proud to be the second woman to serve on the AL Court of Criminal Appeals and the first woman elected to it. Judge Price paved the way!

Georgia judges have two robes? Formal and “informal?” Unacceptable. @JudgeMinor, we’ve got work to do… Alabama needs at least three. Formal, informal, and … hmmm… camo? Father Christmas? Rehnquist model?
Great question! We have two styles of robes: 1. Plain black robe (our primary robes); and 2. Formal (academic) black robe with black velvet detailing (used for State of the State, State of the Judiciary, ceremonial events, investitures, etc.) They are all the J-71 model
