Today in Aviation History 3/11/2005 – Jetsgo ceases all operations and declares bankruptcy protection. This low-cost carrier was founded in 2002 and had 29 aircraft and 41 destinations. When it ceased operations it stranded thousands of passenger in airports with no way home.

Good afternoon from onboard Tez Jet flight #K9118 from here in Osh bound for Bishkek. This afternoon’s aircraft is EX-80003, a 29 year old MD83 that has previously flown for Korean Air, Jetsgo and Allegiant Air. There are very few of these still left flying.
