Making a rest api using JAXRS that navigates Paths make you really miss Java does not have a way to alias typenames. Path != Path

Has anyone ever tried to return a tar archive from a #jaxrs post method? You can pass the outsteam from streaming output to the lib, but it assembles the files earlier. 🤔 Need to move the tar code to the lib then? Currently in messagebodywriter.
