@mcuban Ins co l. just accepted the charges and now I owe $5K copay for ridiculous charges that added up to $28K. They settled the bill without any input from me. Insurance is supposed to negotiate and represent my interest. I pay $30k in annual premiums plus $6k deductible.

@mcuban What a crazy system we have?! Insurance companies are a scam. My son got recently hospitalized for asthma. Among many crazy charges the hospital charged $327 for oxygen/pulse check 11x for a total charge of $3597. Should be $2 as it takes 30s and is done with a $20 device..

@ArmandDoma The Obamacare 15% has artificially inflated the cost accross the board. Thats why everything cost more with insurance rather than cash. They have to justify their high premiums because they need their denominator as high as possible.
