Ya know what @U2 ye have really got me with the HTDAAB nostalgia - it was the first U2 album I can remember the build up to and release of. It rocked my world, with a sound and look so big and so epic. Even just seeing all the red and black graphics is making me smile! ❤️🖤

偶然なのかもしれないけど、5年前のU2日本公演開催日に合わせて、12月4日にエッジ、12月5日にアダムが HTDAAB20周年記念盤の日本向けプロモーションに登場するというのは、懐旧感を強くかき立てられてしまう。5年前の12月4日がエッジ側、12月5日がアダム側に居たで、個人的にリンク感を抱いてしまう。

HTDAAB was the 1st new album release, let alone @U2 release, that I ever got up early for to be in line hours before the store opened. Good times. 😎🖤💛
Lots of #U2 album anniversaries at this time of year; but I want to acknowledge How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb. I bought the CD 19 years ago (actually the night before the release 🤫🙃) and popped it in the car stereo and immediately felt the warm comfort of being home again.

So a couple minor observations about the HTDAAB re-release content... 1) The jewel is absolutely the 'Assemble' disc with most of that being previously unreleased 2) It's interesting that the Alternate mixes of ABOY, Yahweh, SYCMIOYO are not included. Seems the band consider

Why didn’t the Shadow songs make HTDAAB? Larry & Adam said the Chris Thomas sessions had no magic. Lillywhite had the gravitas to steer the band away from the experimental towards the conventional & Bono didn’t finish lyrics #U2fam
