it doesnt handle movement very well but i made it in like 5 hours so id say it looks pretty good for how fast i made it.(also made it using gradientcanvas by boatbomber) .#robloxdev

I made yet another method of rendering images in #Roblox- ascii!.Now I have AsciiCanvas, ViewportCanvas, and GradientCanvas. Fun stuff!

tl;dr: Use GradientCanvas for dynamic content (but must be low-res to avoid the Roblox UI limit) and use ViewportCanvas for static content (can be high res and colorful).

@BoatbomberRBLX Coming in late to all of this; please give me a run down. What is GradientCanvas? I can't find any information on it.

@CDDev_ I made systems that let you draw arbitrary colors to a canvas and render with efficient greedy methods and custom lossy compression. One uses frames with UIGradients, one uses parts in a ViewportFrame.
