@CommerceGov @NTIAgov We are committed to evolving the network to meet the needs of public safety. To that end, we used responder feedback to develop a Roadmap of #FirstNet's future. The Roadmap inspired the first network investments: expanding deployables and preparing FirstNet for 5G. #FirstNet10

@CommerceGov @NTIAgov We promised that FirstNet would be a network built for public safety, by public safety. So, we worked with first responders nationwide to hear what they needed. These discussions led to state plans and the decision to opt-in to #FirstNet by all states and territories. #FirstNet10

@CommerceGov @NTIAgov Public safety feedback also informed another key #FirstNet10 milestone – the development of our Request for Proposal (RFP) for the network. Out of the RFP process, we formed an innovative public-private partnership with AT&T to build and deploy the nation's public safety network.
