I want to write an informational item on #FactoryMethods in Java. It is named badly in such a way that people correlate it with patterns. .

@unclebobmartin I push for 100% of the code the team agrees need testing. Adding attributes to code you choose to skip with a reason. Eg FactoryMethod. Then coverage rules to skip that code, and architecture tests to ensure FactoryMethods have a complexity of 1.
