@gilmcgowan I watched his speech, and he seems to be arguing for increased freedom of speech and democracy. So that would be the opposite of what you're worried about. If, however, strict adherence to the Eurocode is important to you, then this will have been destabilizing.

At this rate, a sound business proposal would be for people in the construction space to start making and selling standard size and quality concrete spacer/cover blocks. On most sites they are either the wrong size, poorly cured or of substandard strength!
