This is not the first time that CoinMarketCap has been accused of charging unjustified fees. In 2018, the Cardano Foundation requested that CoinMarketCap remove a message that said "Cardano is a scam." CoinMarketCap reportedly charged them a fee of $5,000 to do so.

Here's an update regarding @CoinMarketCap Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful in resolving this issue with Coinmarketcap. The only response we have received to our tickets is purchasing CMC Priority for 50,000 USD. We have decided to go ahead and implement the ADA Delegation
