One use-case that I'm particularly excited about is ECVRFs. As specified in RFC9381 ( https://t.co/n862cVxZQm), elliptic curves can be used to construct a VRF. This enables Subnets to utilize their validator sets in order to generate on-chain randomness secured by stake 🤯
