#DowsonYear1 during our Science lesson we went for a walk in our local area. We looked for different trees and flowers and ticked them off on our checklist when we saw them. We then collected some leaves and made some leaf rubbings. #DowsonScience #WeAreDowson

#DowsonYear5 have had an amazing #ScienceDay. We first designed parachutes before testing them and working out which design was the best and why. We discovered that the bigger the parachute, the more air resistance, the safer the parachutes! #DowsonScience #ChangeAndAdapt

Year 6 loved linking Science Day to our Disaster topic. We used vinegar and bicarbonate of soda to create a chemical reaction that would mimic a volcano eruption. We measured different amounts to create different types of eruptions. #DowsonYear6 #DowsonScience #DowsonGeography
