Today we passed my #CoverageforAll bill through the @nysenate Health Committee. With the Assembly Health Committee passing this bill last week, we are building momentum to expand access to Essential Plan coverage to more New Yorkers, regardless of their immigration status.

Did you know that undocumented immigrants can donate kidneys (and they do!) but cannot receive them if they are uninsured? I unveiled a bill with @NYSenatorRivera that changes that. Our bill on transplant equity is an interim step towards our ultimate goal of #CoverageForAll.
