Great advice exchange idea by #Convatec. Easy to forget how drastic ileostomy creation / panproctocolectomy sounded when the surgeon first explained it, way back when I was a ‘young adult’. A bag brings a chance to live your best life, but that’s hard to see when you’re peri-op.
