To the NW of Limavady is the fertile lands of Myroe, some of which was reclaimed from Lough Foyle when the Sea Wall was constructed. Today we visited a part of Myroe which is home to the internationally renowned @broightergold Rapeseed Oil and the Kane Family Broglasco Farm.

The Perseid Meteor Shower peaked last night, moon was bright washing out weaker meteors, counted 10 before the cloud came 0230 Combine Harvester in a field at Myroe made nice foreground against the sky catching a meteor from behind it Many thanks to @farmerkaney @broightergold

The 2024 Harvest for Broglasco Farm is now well under way. Two Combine Harvesters in action this afternoon, along with a number of Tractors & Trailers as they make the best of the great weather, to bring their crops in to the farm. @broightergold @bbcniweather @Louise_utv

The @broightergold Harvest 2025 got underway yesterday at Broglasco Farm in Myroe. A local producer & supplier providing an award winning product to shops & supermarkets @farmerkaney

Broglasco Farm is situated in Myroe on the outskirts of Limavady, growing crops and home to the @broightergold which is produced on the farm. Their rapeseed was sown later than normal this year so the crop is starting to come into it's lovely yellow flower just now.
