Did we miss Clark’s black suit days? Or his interactions with Darkseid and Brainiac? Someone threatening Martha not Lois, is the purest Clark we’ve seen. Gunn’s adaptation is to that awshucks and simple man simple rules Clark. With multiple titles, & volumes, Snyder did okay.
