#AdvancingtheVision: Last fiscal year, we continued our programme of equipping the #courts with modern infrastructure and #technology necessary to conduct business efficiently. Court hearings continued virtually despite the pandemic.

#AdvancingtheVision: Last fiscal year, 696 members of the public have happily had their records expunged and are now free to engage in #business, #travel and #employment. We hope to increase this number with the amendment of the Criminal Records(Rehabilitation of Offenders) Act.

#AdvancingtheVision- Last fiscal year, our Child Diversion Programme rehabilitated #children who have committed diversion offences & contributed to reducing the number of children exposed to the criminal #justice system & empowering #communities to resocialize child offenders.

In the Court Of Appeal app 68 per cent of judgments were delivered within 6 mths of being reserved. The clearance rate in in the Court is 81 per cent -an increase of 11 per cent over 2019-that is , 81 cases for every 100 reserved #Advancingthevision @jamjudiciary
