This morning I had a #Bilateral meeting with the SG of Ministry of Agriculture of Burkinafaso in a #Margin of #AFSLD in Kigali, to discuss the preparation of the #STC meeting in October 21-15 of October 2019.

In the margin to #AFSLD I had a #bilateral meeting with the #ambassador of the USA to #Rwanda to discuss issues related to the cooperation b/w the #AUC and #USAID and decided to make more focus in Technical Assistance to adress the challenges of #Food Security.

@ #AFSLD in Kigali today, @I_Serageldin said the key to rapid urbanization is to reduce cost of food, focus on smallholder farmers, make agriculture pro-poor , pro-women and pro-environment @LauraTuck_WB @JosefaSacko @HafezGhanem_WB @krayberry

The three Palops Leaders attended the #AFSLD in Kigali #Minister of Agriculture of #Guinea Bissau, #Myself and #Deputy Director of FAO, African Portuguese Speaking Countries should be strongly supported to revamp the #agriculture sector.
