Wimbledon Men’s Second Round 2025 @espn @Wimbledon It’s great 2 have @rennaestubbs & @SamQuerrey give expert commentary, it’s even better when @ChrisMcKendry can ask specific questions w/o extra opinions/analysis/biases. Experts tell us what/why; good commentators ask & listen.

To all film buffs in NYC over next week or so, Francis Ford Coppola's masterpiece "Apocalypse Now" is running at @filmforumnyc until July 3rd. Original 'roadshow' version, released in '79 w/o credits, is now 4K restoration. Coppola's magnum opus. Breathtaking film experience.

French Open 2025 Mens Final Sinner vs Alcaraz @tntsports @frenchopen4you Sinner is playing within himself, hitting hard but with a margin. Alcaraz is over-hitting, going for too much, like he’s mentally tired. Punch drunk from all the heavy hitting?.

French Open 2025 Mens Final Sinner vs Alcaraz @tntsports @frenchopen4you Johnnie Mac is an expert commentator, but he is phoning this one in. Aside from being biased toward Alcaraz, he hasn’t offered much analysis of match dynamics and how these are changing set to set.

ECF New York Knicks vs Indiana Pacers Game 4 oK comments by fatheads, fattest head Charles big on Siakum, Pacers 2nd most lethal threat & consistently clutch in playoffs. Shaq & Kenny, 2 an extent, balance CB’s hating on NYK is tiresome. He refuses 2 say anything good about NYK.

New York Knicks vs Boston Celtics 2nd Rd Eastern Conference Playoffs Brunson (?!) and KAT getting into foul trouble early in the 3rd quarter. Not great for the NYK. White making timely buckets for Boston.

New York Knicks vs Boston Celtics 2nd Rd Eastern Conference Playoffs Score tied half. Jaylen Brown is bigtime player who has started strong, White also has answered the bell. Why does it feel like NYK has weathered the storm? It seems like Boston has thrown their biggest punches.

Brunson reminds me of AI. Always battling, fighting, working in the trenches. Lunch pail mentality. This postseason, the NYK have showed up as a team, with many players contributing. Same mentality: grind and work to get the win. #NYK

NCAA Men’s Championship Florida vs Houston @CBSSports @MarchMadnessMBB Back in the 1990s, best NBA teams played defense this hard all game long. Great to see. Both teams are playing tough D, difference is Houston is moving better away from the ball on O. Florida will find buckets.

NYJ signed Justin Fields: smart move that positions team well for the future. HC Glenn can build play package around JFs strengths, Fields didn't have this in Chicago or Pittsburgh. Like Hurts/Mahomes/Allen/Jackson, JF is multi-threat QB. Jets can add Off pieces to be contender.

So happy that Saquon is getting a shot at winning a chip. Nobody deserves this more than @saquon especially after his incredible season.

US Open Mens Final Sinner vs Fritz @espn @usopen Sinner is standing so far back, Taylor has to exploit that, play short angle in the box. He has GOT to make his way into net. He just held serve, but if he doesn’t change this losing strategy of staying back, it’s gonna b over soon.

US Open Mens Final Sinner vs Fritz Taylor 2 sets down. He CANNOT continue to bash from baseline with Sinner. The only player who has a prayer with that is Alcaraz. Fritz MUST use the surface as a weapon, construct points, pick spots to approach, get into net. Go less big 1st srv.

US Open Mens Semis Fritz vs Tiafoe Frances often begins point on baseline, takes ball early, on the rise, like Agassi or Hewitt. Taylor striking ball crisp, clean, playing at very high level, no unforced errors, as he has all tournament. @espn @usopen.

US Open Semis Fritz vs Tiafoe @espn @usopen Despite what TV commentators are saying, US Open crowd will get behind whichever player puts their best play and heart on the court. Crowd is not against Fritz.

US Open Mens Semis Fritz vs Tiafoe I’m not getting paid by @espn to call match at @usopen but McEnroe/Fowler should start calling match like they’re subject matter experts. In last few games, both players have dug in standing on close 2 baseline. Court positioning dictates shots.

US Open Mens Semis Fritz vs Tiafoe @espn @usopen Frances has better movement laterally and to net; Fritz has slightly better serve and net game. Gonna be long match. Good one too. 😀.
