Weigela still throwing out a flower and berries on the Himalayan honeysuckle. Berries are a treat for the blackbirds then new plants pop up around the garden like this one did a few years ago.

Flowering just in time, with two flowers🌼 Starting to dry some of the tubers in the greenhouse now to bring them indoors for the winter.

Spotted some lovely insects this week, comma butterfly, noon fly, Southern hawker dragon fly and hoverfly.

Home grown fig for breakfast, other half of the biscuit and some fig already eaten, very sweet!

I think this is a Northern red oak tree, a native of America and Canada. Turning a beautiful red colour at this time of year.
