Here’s my thoughts on Shabanov, Isles fans are severely overrating his potential because of highlights. Have to remember this was his third full time season in the KHL. Prospects like Nikishin, a defenseman, outscored him at a younger age the two seasons prior to this one.

That’s not a 2 on 1. It was yet another rush chance after Horvat line coughed the puck up under little pressure. Bad play was that litter pass early in the season in the crease.
This was one of those “point of no return” plays for me this season with Dobson. I’ve never see a dman this checked out on a 2 on 1.
