New WR for Harrier, Jane Horder 👏
This is incredible! World Record for Jane Horder at the Loughborough Indoor Open Jane has lowered her own World F65 60m hurdles Record (set Feb 5th 2022) by a massive 0.31 seconds, stopping the clock in 9.98!!

Time for a weekend catch up! To start with a new club indoor record in America!! George Watson opened his 2023 season with an incredibly quick 4:04.51 over the mile, getting closer and closer to the magic 4minute mark. The previous record was 4:04.93 set by Luke Carroll in 2013

Congratulations to our 2022 winner of the Dave Macnamee Senior athlete of the year award, George Watson, who was awarded his trophy this week George had an incredible 2022 breaking many endurance club records and becoming the first Harrier ever to run a sub 14 5k.

Harrier Maurice Gooch was a small part of marathon running history on 28th September 1928. He placed 3rd in the Liverpool Marathon in 2.54. Winner Cpl Sam Ferris, the new British record holder, subsequently went on to win Silver in the 1932 Olympic marathon. #Cheltenham #History

There will be a special event at the Prince of Wales Stadium from 6pm onwards - with our very own Elliot Prince carrying the baton on it's final leg of the journey up to the pump rooms at just after 6.45pm.
