i think they should've let james spader take a crack at the riddler. just to see if we all liked it

op fandom largely uninterests me cause they're either powerscaling or proving which characters are endgame while i want to dissect oda's use of tragedy and live inside of it like a dead camel in the desert

giving the going merry a soul so that she can thank the crew for loving her and so the crew can love her in return. crazy.

oda's crazy as hell cause i truly think no other writer has ever utilized pathos like he does. every tragedy he's ever written has been child-like in its simplicity and they're all as equally agonizing because of it
@no1spdmdefender ace dying even as the entire world came together to save his life ultimately being portrayed not as a waste or a doomed endeavor, but as a final show of love for a boy who grew up so viscerally hated for simply being born. so he could die with a smile on his face

Yeah @DaveOshry got married but did they say by WHO ??? JOHN WARD (me) dressed in-character! Turns out the couple met in the first place through their mutual love of FAITH π» And what an honor it was to perform their marriage ceremony. Here's to the GOAT himself Dave Oshry π₯

I found it hard growing up to like Damian because he was essentially the culmination of decades of orientalism and the villainization of the 'other'. He was the outcome of the worst al Ghul stories and what I liked most about him - his relationship with Dick - got sidelined
