This is an example of everything wrong with our sport. Voting or Selecting should never be done. It brings in human biases. The greatest part is that most important decisions are decided on the track or roads.
After a 2025 season in which Melissa Jefferson-Wooden swept the sprints at the World Championships by winning the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay AND went undefeated in the 100m all year by posting the five fastest times worldwide (topped by her 10.61 world lead), she was NOT named

The @HansonsDistProj has been in existence for 26 years. We have a standing rule. If an athlete ever tests positive for any PED he/she will be immediately dismissed from the program. If 2 athletes test positive we would IMMEDIATELY end the program. It would break my heart.
