They say this is "the end of times", and the "great tribulation" is coming soon. I would say so. When we are crucified, at least figuratively, it will be by Christ's side. And we can die cursing Him, or trusting in His merciful love.

2) "Vere...mortuus est..."; and Pope Benedict XVI was pronounced dead on Dec. 31, 2022. Over a year ago. 🙏

The real questioning has to do with the "magna quaestio"--since Pope Benedict XVI never renounced the papal munus, the "papacy" of Jorge Mario Bergoglio is not a papacy at all. Null and void. We are in "sede vacante" since Dec. 31, 2022.

The time for intervention was in 2013, and Pope Benedict XVI DID intervene. He drew the enemies of the faith offside, so that what looked like a punt turning the "munus" over to them, and leading to their end zone celebration at the upcoming Synod, is invalidated, called back.

Quite right. But Archbishop Viganó needs to acknowledge that Pope Benedict XVI never renounced the papal munus; an illegitimate conclave was convoked, resulting in a schismatic anti-church and anti-pope; BXVI was in an impeded see (2013-22; and the see is vacant since 12/31/22.

Before a legitimate conclave can be called and elect a new pope, the pope must declare "Rinuncio MUNERI" (cf CIC 332.2), which Pope Benedict XVI NEVER did, or die, which did not happen until 12/31 /2022. The conclave called on 3/1/2013 resulted in an impeded see and anti-pope.

As Divine Providence would have it, the death of Pope Benedict XVI in the final hours of 2022 has left us with a vacant see which persists as we reach Feb. 22, the Feast of the Chair of St. Peter--which will fittingly not be celebrated this year, as it falls on Ash Wednesday. 😏
